How the Instant PNR Enquiry Works
Enter your 10-digit Passenger Name Record (PNR). The tool queries a RESTful PNR API and returns: Train, From → To, Class, Quota, Boarding Date & Time, Platform (if available), Booking & Current Status per passenger, and a simple confirmation chance indicator.
This page attempts direct client-side requests to https://pnrapi.dfth.in/pnr/{pnr}. If that is blocked by the browser (CORS) or the API is down, results will fall back to a demo response or a PHP server-side endpoint at /OpenIrctc.php if you host one.
Platform Features

The Ultimate PNR Status Guide
This guide explains PNR lifecycle, booking vs current status, flush/archival, status codes like CNF/RAC/WL, and practical tips such as checking final chart and filing TDR for refunds.
PNR Lifecycle
- Generation & Active State: A PNR is created at booking and is dynamic until charting.
- Charting: 3–4 hours before departure the chart is prepared; coach/berth numbers may be assigned.
- In-Journey: PNR is used for TTE verification.
- Flushed/Archived: After journey, PNR is flushed from live system (but retained in CRIS archives for months).
